LC Industries is a not for profit corporation operating under the auspices of the AbilityOne program (formerly known as JWOD) that has grown and diversified for over 70 years to become the largest employer of people who are blind in the United States.
LC Industries maintains a longstanding, mutually beneficial relationship with the federal government. With over 400 products on the federal procurement list, LC Industries provides legally blind individuals with employment opportunities while the federal government receives quality products and services without the added cost of lengthy procurement efforts.
Along with having many items on the federal procurement list, LC Industries distribution centers have steadily increased the number of AbilityOne products available to customers from coast to coast. Currently, LC Industries distribution centers stock nearly 1,000 AbilityOne products from more than 70 different NIB and NISH agencies.
